Engine warning light on my L405 – need a proper diagnostic place
Citát ze zdroje Hadrian Fincher dne 3. 9. 2026, 12:42So I'm in a bit of a panic right now because the check engine light came on in my 2016 Range Rover Vogue yesterday and it's been sitting in my garage ever since because I'm too scared to drive it. The car seems to be running fine, no strange noises or loss of power or anything like that, but I know with these vehicles you can't just ignore warning lights and hope they go away because they're so complex electronically and what starts as a small issue can quickly turn into something major. I've had bad experiences in the past with general garages who just plug in a cheap code reader, tell you it's one thing, change a part, and then the light comes back on a week later because they didn't actually diagnose the root cause. I'm really looking for reliable Range Rover maintenance and diagnostics in Abu Dhabi that actually has the proper diagnostic equipment for these cars and mechanics who understand how all the systems interact with each other. I don't want to just throw money at parts based on guesses, I want someone who can properly read the codes, interpret what's actually going on, and fix it right the first time. I've heard that some places use generic diagnostic tools that don't even communicate properly with Land Rover's systems which is probably why so many people end up with recurring issues. Has anyone had a good experience with a workshop that actually knows how to properly diagnose these cars rather than just guessing? I really need to get this sorted because the car is my main transport and I can't afford to have it off the road for ages while someone figures out what they're doing honestly.
